Fortune favours the bold
Success demands the courage to back big ideas
We started in the trenches of political campaigns. Now we help leaders, brands and institutions win the conversations that matter most.
In 2016, Sean Topham and Ben Guerin were running digital operations for political campaigns out of a cramped apartment in New Zealand. No big agency. No corporate backing. Just a belief that the rules of influence were changing, and that speed, creativity, and conviction could beat budgets and bureaucracy.
That belief paid off. Our work caught the attention of political leaders around the world. Within two years, we were running campaigns across four continents. Within five, we'd become the go-to agency for high-stakes influence, from elections that reshape nations to brand battles that define industries.
Today, TG operates from New York, London, Sydney, and Auckland. But we've never lost the scrappy, campaign-trail mindset that got us here. We still move faster than news cycles. We still believe in the power of a message that actually lands. And we still only take on fights we believe in.

Decades of combined experience across political campaigns, corporate communications, and digital strategy.
Ben builds AI systems and digital products that shape what millions of people think and do, and advises leaders on the communications challenges that decide elections and reputations. He works where politics, technology and mass behaviour change meet. He co-led, with Sean Topham, the digital campaign behind Boris Johnson's 2019 General Election victory. During the COVID-19 pandemic he advised the UK Government, crafting the "Stay Home, Protect the NHS, Save Lives" message with the Chief Scientist and Chief Medical Officer. His campaigns span election wins across the UK, Australia and New Zealand, and brands including Lloyds Banking Group, Rio Tinto, Spotify and Airbnb.
Sean advises leaders, businesses and governments on their most difficult communications and reputation challenges. He has advised successive Prime Ministers across the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, as well as organizations navigating high-stakes issues. He is known for cutting through complexity. He takes problems that look intractable and turns them into a clear strategy, a narrative that lands, and measurable impact. He co-founded Topham Guerin and has built it into a trusted name in communications and creative, with teams across four international markets.
Zak oversees the financial strategy and operations of the global group across its four international markets. A Chartered Accountant and member of CA ANZ, he trained in audit and assurance at BDO before moving into commercial finance and into the role of Chief Financial Officer. He advises the founders on the decisions that determine the shape of the business, from investment and pricing to structure, funding and growth, and brings the rigor of professional finance to the firm's expansion.
Toby leads Topham Guerin's UK business, advising boards and leadership teams on the issues that decide a reputation: regulatory intervention, political risk, and crises that play out in public. His career spans the House of Commons, Chatham House, and more than a decade in public affairs and strategic communications, including at the global agency Burson-Marsteller and senior roles at the strategy firms Mercury and Actum. A King's College London graduate with a master's in International Relations, he is trusted by senior leaders to navigate the moments that matter most.
Guy heads Topham Guerin's US business, counseling corporations, campaigns and public institutions on the communications challenges that carry the greatest risk and the highest reward. A former News Corp journalist, he knows the media from the inside, and pairs that instinct with a decade advising at the highest levels of government and industry. He has served Australian Cabinet ministers including the Attorney-General, and held the role of Senior Vice President at the global firm Actum. From New York, he now guides North American clients through regulatory scrutiny, political pressure and the moments that decide how an organization is seen, the kind of work that brings them to him early.
Sam leads Topham Guerin's Australian business, advising brands and organisations on the campaigns that build reputation and drive commercial growth. He brings more than fifteen years in agency and brand, including at Ogilvy, and has shaped work for AAMI, Vodafone and BMW across financial services, telecommunications and automotive. He combines the discipline of the world's leading creative agencies with the conviction that defines TG, and is trusted by senior marketers to deliver when the brief carries weight.
Tsieske leads creative and strategy across Topham Guerin's four markets, shaping the ideas that carry a brand or a campaign. Two decades in, she has built work for clients including PlayStation, Google and Nestlé, across dozens of markets and global platforms. She cut her teeth at one of London's first social media agencies, building its creative department before moving into broader creative leadership. A designer who learned to think like a strategist, she pairs the instinct of a creative director with the judgment to know why an idea will move an audience, not simply whether it will be admired.
We've worked for clients in more than a third of the world's countries, reaching markets home to three in four people on the planet. And the list keeps growing.
Whatever you're up against, let's talk about how to take it on.
